Dr. Vaishalee Shukla is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to delivering personalized, attentive care in a private practice setting. She has provided excellent medical care in the Westchester community for over 20 years and believes in building long-term relationships with her patients and treating the whole person—not just symptoms.

She completed her residency and MD in Internal Medicine at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester, affiliated with New York Medical College (now Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital).  She started her career in 2008 at Sound Shore Medical Center working in primary care across in-patient, out-patient, nursing home settings and served as Medical Director of Ludington Adult Day Services in New Rochelle.  She transitioned to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital working for over 10 years in an out-patient setting before establishing her own practice, V. Shukla MD, PLLC in 2023.

Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with a deep commitment to listening, understanding, and collaborating with each patient to create individualized care plans. By operating outside of the insurance-based system, Dr. Shukla is able to offer longer appointments, direct communication, and greater flexibility in care—putting her patients’ needs first at every step.

She provides comprehensive adult medical care, including preventive health screenings, chronic disease management (such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, etc.), and diagnostic evaluations.
